I can't see the Hawks doing this...even if it were the 2020 1st.

Agreed. They won't trade strome unless it helps them win now. No reason to trade him for futures

That's different than rebuilding. A 1st....a year from now isn't retooling. A replacement piece coming back and picks is what they'd be looking for. It's why I suggested an OTT trade for Tierny and picks...even if they're a bit lesser picks.

Thinks CBJ will want a player back as well as picks for Anderson.

They've been retooling for about 5 years now. Bowman needs the team to start winning before his jobs on the line

I keep seeing the bruins in on these right wings (Palmieri, Anderson Virtanen Chaisson etc.) yet it REALLY doesn't make sense. By getting one of them they are either A. Giving up on Kase being a top 6 winer and trade him. Or B. Take a roster spot away from Studnicka Senyshen and Kuhlman.

I know. Honestly i think as well as Coyle has been at C3, moving him to RW2 and let Studnicka and Frederic camp battle for C3 is not the worst idea. There would be some growing pains but it solves middle 6 wing. Another option is let Senyshyn play RW3 to start the season, he’s out of options, give him 10 games see if he is capable.

The bigger issue is LD1 and that can’t be solved through free agency.

To start the season maybe run
63-37-13
74-46-88
for the third line, have a group of guys battle it out to see who earns the spots. (Bjork/chaisson, Studs, Freddy, Kase, Senyshen, Kuraly, Steen, Hughes)
