I'm predicting De Melo cracks $3 million. I pay him $3.75 or $4 million for 4 or 5 years in my constructions.

I don't think St. Louis makes that trade.

I don't know if the Ducks want to retain salary on Manson, but they might with that much of an overpay. I'd be happy to offer the #15 pick and see what happens, I doubt Lily needs to be involved. I could also see them being in the running to get Vatanen back or somebody like Shattenkirk in the UFA market, if they do I think they'd be more willing to move Manson.

Lol massive overpayment for Manson, especially after this season. I don't even think I would trade Liljgren straight up for him at this point as they will both be playing on the leafs 3rd pair, so I would rather have the cheaper and younger player who may actually be able to play a true top 4 role one day, while Manson only seemed to have one good season.

Blues probably pass. Sanford has really improved the last year and a half and Blais is a solid depth guy. Both together cost less than Johnsson too so it wouldn’t help us with the cap either.
