Danault is our 1st line center so I think he gets more. I also believe Gallagher will be willing to take a discount wheras Danault won't

Suzuki and Kotkaniemi passed Danault during the playoffs, making Danault our 3C, personally i dont see both him and Domi staying, but if Danault stays its gotta be cheaper than 6.5

Danault got the most ice time out of all forwards in the playoffs. He's one of the best selke players in the league and is an elite 5v5 scorer. He's worth 6.5 all day

kk plays center only and whoever Bergevin thinks won't re-sign is gone between Danualt and domi..tatar might be gone if we get a scorer

Not sure why I put him on the wing. Domi becomes the winger.

danault is only a ist line center because we didn't have one... so you don'tt pay him like one.... suzuki has that potential and maybe KK will in a couple of years.... danault lwill be playing no where as a ist line center unless it is ottawa .

He's one of the best 5v5 point scorers in the league and finished 5th in Selke voting. He's a 1st line center.

I believe it was sixth and selke players are rarely first line centers.. Carbonneau wasn't one Doug Jarvis etc... bergeron is the exception rather than the rule

dont get me wrong i like danault but he is a great third line shutdown guy who can play as a second center in a pinch.. the years where he played as a first line center we didn't make the playoffs right.....

like i said Danault was an elite 5v5 point producer. He's not just one of the better defensive centers in the league

Elite point producer have you look at his stats... 50 points is not elite ... elite is like 80 points plus... that is elite..Domi produces more offense 72 points than Danault..

again I like danault but see him for what he is.... 50 points on a bad team but he wins faceoff and plays good defense.. or 40 points on a good team playing on the third line and making the playoff and winning a round or two.. this is all because his contract is up and he wants big money..... not going to happen in montreal ... 4.5 to 5 mill tops in montreal and not for 8 years either at best 6 years..

if he doesn't take that then he will be traded.... where you have to be careful is not to trade domi and realize you can't sign danault and lose both of them ... so Berg will see what danault wants and if it is too much then he gets traded and we sign domi..... Suzuki is more like Bergeron potential than danault is..

5v5 point producer. Search 5v5 stats and compare. Danault had very little on the PP and when he did it was 2nd line. Just do some research my dude

NO RESEARCH IS NECESSARY . I WATCH EVERY GAME THAT IS BETTER THAN RESEARCH...Danault doesn't have finish around the net and he is an ok passer.. it is the line that makes it work.. anyway he will be a checking center with offensive upside because that is what he is..lol

I'd rather look at the numbers and judge him.
