i think this is fair. i'm not a huge fan of liane, but thought i'd give it a try. De Haan is just to give them some desperately need. add a pick if needed.

Meh, I think this is meh, imo, I like laines style of play better than debrincat. I also think that strome is a decent piece, but de Haan to me is meh but Jets will be looking for strictly quality in a Laine deal. They’re looking for 2C and top 4 RHD. De Haan isn’t a bad idea but he’s damaged goods. Strome is a great target for wpg but they should be trying to acquire him in a different package to play with Laine. I think CBJ and CAR are front runners in the trade race.

Nope from Winnipeg. Nothing there to entice the Jets to move Laine.

Debrincat and Liane are on similar level.
This is an awful trade for Chicago and a good deal for the jets

Yeah I’m not sure why we are including so much to upgrade**** DeBrincat to Laine.

Laine has a better snipe. Ill agree with that. Right now that's Kubalik's role for the Hawks. Debrincat has a sneaky good wrister and plays better in traffic IMO. Its a lot to give up IMO from the Hawks side. Is Laine better overall. Yeah I can see that, but not by this much.

Is Laine a big enough upgrade from Debrincat to warrant this? Especially at the cap hit that he’s gonna demand. I’d rather just keep Debrincat and trade Strome&Dehaan separately.

Pretty sure it came out that CAR didn't like the asking price, also I don't think CBJ has enough quality assets to get it done.

Not sure any of the teams will like the asking price, CBJ might get close

hopefully my Devils get close grin 3 firsts in a good 1st round, Severson and Zacha I'm sure would be of interest. I feel like they could put together a solid offer.

I think Jets want quality, pure quality. They’ve got a huge price tag attached to him. Like they either need a distinct 2C or a top C prospect and top 4 RHD. Zacha could be a 2C, but idk. Severson is good.

7th overall pick could be a top C prospect (Rossi, Lundell) and Severson is a legit top 4 RHD, good age, great contract with term. Zacha could grow into a 2C in a better offensive system there in Winnipeg, has a ton of skill. I think Severson + Zacha + 7th + 20th + another prospect or pick is a fairly legit offer, pretty good value coming back.

Thinking of it that way, yes it’s a good deal.
