You are right and the amount teams actually make or lose has come up a bit do to the COVID-19 stoppage. I think it's safe to say most of the fans here are talking about the cap hit. LTIR comes up a lot on this site and there are a lot of ACGMs here involve LTIR even though the person posting it doesn't really understand how it works. A good percentage of users here don''t have any desire to understand the teams financials past the cap hit. Do you know how much each team made or lost last season or the year before without looking it up? I know how much the Wing's made but only because I looked it up last week for something else. Some of the teams don't care about the profit as long as they win. Look at the Wing's when they were on their Cup run there were 4 or 5 seasons where they didn't break even until the 2nd home game of the conference finals.
