I dont see GMJR moving McCann or Petterson after just extending them

Murray would have happened in the Kapenan trade but his rich arbitration rights made Dubas say no to the 1 for 1 deal. Plus recent reports indicate Dubas plans to keep freddie as no deals have sparked his interest.

Honestly if a Penguin is coming to the leafs I could see Letang come as it gives the penguins room to bring Tanev in. Just got to wait and see

Pens would decline this. It wouldn’t make sense for their get younger approach to trade McCann and Petterson for older players who are older and at best equal in terms of skill and production.

It was more that Dubas knew he'd get that 1st rnd for Kapenen and could wait out the Murray trade , he does have a goalie already and unless he gets value for Freddie there is no point in aquiring Murray, also I believe the Pens will sell Murray low to avoid the arbs fights

yeah cause Tanev is going to replace Letang all right... that matheson trade basically killed the Tanev signing and I am 100% okay with that
