Russell is a pending UFA, it won't cost Edmonton a 1st to move him.

Nylander is worth a lot more than that and we don't want him anyway.

Russell I don’t believe has negative value but even if willing to pretend he does I can’t see it being anywhere near a first rounder involved. I’d rather keep him just because he’s a very useful depth d that is always first called upon to cover extra minutes when injuries take place.

Why would we want to get rid of Russell? He is very serviceable and plays both sides. We should resign him. You want a first yet. Ahahaha it’s 1 year of 4 million. Not 5 years.
