Gaborik's real dollar one is essentially zero if the contract insurance pays out. That's way more favorable for Melnek than paying Boychuck at all. Some teams it's not about the all about product on the ice.

I think there is a good chance he gets it. But I wouldn't rush him up either.. JGP and Ryan played together in OTT. Think it would be mutually beneficial to reunite them

Yeah I mean Ryan is an ok bottom 6 F, but he’s awful on the powerplay, which is why I’d rather give that spot to wahlstrom who can improve the PP
