Canucks decline, with that much retention Sutter isn't really a cap dump anymore so you aren't gonna get Virtanen for free

There is some crazy concept that I heard also. When you have a good player you play them, you don't send them to junior for another year just to hope he gets better in a league he had already outgrown.

Yeah, we don't have a history of rushing our prospects over the last 9 years.
