Voracek just had 56 pts in 69 games and was +14... while Gaudreau 58 pts in 70 games and -10

Gaudreau being the same age as Ghost is completely irrelevant because quite frankly Ghost is not a very good player and is a cap dump, so his only comparison should be to Lucic and honestly, I'd rather have Lucic because while he's overpaid, he's not a liability in any part of his game not a chance I would eat 23.5m and swap him for Ghost, I wouldn't even do that swap straight up.

Vorachek is a few years older than Gaudreau, has never been as good as Gaudreau, makes more than Gaudreau and is signed for longer than Gaudreau. I wouldn't even do Gaudreau for Vorachek and a 1st. The Flames are not trading Gaudreau for an old, overpaid, declining player.

And then on top of it, you have the Flames paying way more in real dollars (more than $15 million more in real dollars) during the current economic situation in the NHL and offer zero compensation for eating that money from a cap dump and bad contract?

If the Flyers want Gaudreau, it STARTS with Konecny, and then you add from there because one season good year from him in a season Gaudreau wasn't great doesn't make Konecny more valuable. We don't have to trade Gaudreau and we aren't going to make a terrible trade to move him.
