Nope I didn't....Stevie Y build a Cup pretender....this is a Cup winner with all the cheap depth role players added....the 9-10 million spend on those 6 depth players are better than the 10 million spent on Callahan and Miller.
Some of these comments give me cancer. It's a one year depth signing at basically a league minimum for a guy who can play wing or center and shoots right (something Detroit could definitely use). Unless you're really that invested in the development of Givanni Smith, I don't see the problem here.
If Detroit can turn Gagner into an asset at the TD its worth the trade off. The NHL isn't a development league. You are either good enough for it or you aren't.
Gagner hasnt been an asset for years. Not good enough offensively to put up with his below average defense, not physical...hes been a non factor for half his career.
