Description
__________________________________________________________________________________________

*** THIS Mite be my FAVORITE - Young & a Re-Tooled ACGM Teams for the Pens ***

~ Took a 28.5yrs old Average aged Pens Team & made it into a much younger & faster 26.3yrs old average Pens Team
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

FORWARDS :
~ That TOP 9 could be the most exciting in NHL w/ the mix of Great vets, youth at wing, speed, quickness, & all kinds of different skill-sets.
Top 3 C's in : SID - Geno - Trocheck ~~ Don't get much better than since : SID - Geno - Stall
The New additions of Necas & Kappy who are the opposite the usual Pens wingers- Young, fast, & physical (Pens usually get old & small Forwards)
* I love the {UFA} Granlund get & always liked him more than Zucker - #64 actually could be the perfect wing for Sid bc he is a 150 times more skilled D. Simon type of player.

~ That 3rd line of - McCanner - Trocheck - Rusty ??? OMFG-GTFOH, A 3rd line of all Top 6 type guys that are all also great 2-way Players.

~ That 4th line of ~ Wood - Blueger - Tanev = A God Darn Nitemare for other teams with that speed & a real life physical Penguins Forward??

Could use this Top 9 in so many different ways, like I have it below or.....
59-87-64
17-71-24
19-21-88
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

DEFENSE :
~ This Defense would be much better just taking JJ out, lets all be truthful here...lol

~ I mite be biased bc i have watched Matheson since his days at BC & have always loved his game + love that he is wearing his old #5 like w/ BC
BUT IMO having him on our 3rd pairing makes our Top 6 on the LEFT sid, one of the best in NHL.

+ the addition of Roy (who I love) would be just a perfect D-Core.
AND having 50 & 2 as Depth is pretty crazy.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________

GOALIES :
~ 2 of my Fav young Goalies in Jarry at 1A & Hill at 1B would be my Fav Goalie Tandem in NHL
+ A young Monty as the #3 w/ NHL experience too.

******************* ~~~~~~ [3] - TEAM TRADE ~ {Break-Down} ~ PENS - CANES - FLAMES ~~~~~~ ************************

[PIT] gets :
~ C/RW- V. TROCHECK #21 [$4.75m] ------ The Pittsburgh Kid comes home & locks down that 3C spot, Finally. Also becomes that next leader in room & on bench, GMJR is looking for.
~ RW- M. NECAS #88 [$894,] ----------------- I love this dude, My fav young NHL forward & IMO, "COULD BE" a Super-Star Winger OR the next "Pasta" type RWer in NHL.
~ C- A. RUZICKA #63 [$801,] ------------------ A 6'-4" / 215lb - Hallander Prospect Center replacement (Not as good) but a solid {C+} Prospect.

*** Pens get the missing 3C piece in Trocheck, A young possible Star RWer in Necas, & A Center Prospect to replace the Hallander loss.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

[CAR] gets :
~ LW- J. GAUDREAU #13 [$6.75m] ------- I hate even trading him there bc w/ that young rising team in CAR, If they get Gaudreau then pick up a Real #1 Goalie - Wow they could be a legit Top Team.
~ C/LW- S. BENNETT #93 [$2.55m] ------- Never developed into the Top Forward CGY thought when drafted #4 overall but has become a great bottom 6 type & a playoff type need.

** Canes get the Big name & Best player in deal in Gaudreau and a perfect bottom 6 Type Forward.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

[CGY] gets :
~ G- M. MURRAY #30 [RFA] ---------------- Yes, Murray needs a change & had a down / injury riddled yr, but he is still only 26 & a 2- Time Cup Winning Starting Goalie. IMO, will get back to form.
~ LW- J. ZUCKER #16 [$5.5m] ------------- Would be a perfect & cheaper Gaudreau replacment, that plays more of a go to the net type game but still very fast.

** Flames get a Legit & still young #1 Goalie thats a proven winner & a cheaper Gaudreau replacement that mite put up more goals.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

*~ Players listed on - {LTIR} - all could possibly see time or be call ups w/ Pens during Season

1.
PIT
  1. Wood, Miles
Additional Details:
*[Pens] get an actual real life physical player that has Elite speed for a big man. Wood has had 2 down yrs since getting his contract but I would take it on to have a 4th line of : 44-53-13
NJD
  1. Almeida, Justin
  2. Johnson, Jack
Additional Details:
* A overpaid 3rd pairing - FOR - A overpaid 4th Liner
~ Added {C} Prospect bc of Wood being younger & 1yr less on Contract.
2.
PIT
  1. Bennett, Sam
  2. Gaudreau, Johnny
  3. Ruzicka, Adam
Additional Details:
Gaudreau & Bennett to [CAR]
CGY
  1. Murray, Matt [RFA Rights]
  2. Zucker, Jason
Additional Details:
** START of [3] - TEAM TRADE **
~~ [CAR] ~ [PIT] ~ [CGY] ~~
{Trade Break-Down in Description}
3.
CAR
  1. Bennett, Sam
  2. Gaudreau, Johnny
Additional Details:
** END of [3] - TEAM TRADE **
~~ [CAR] ~ [PIT] ~ [CGY] ~~
{Trade Break-Down in Description}
4.
PIT
  1. Hill, Adin
Additional Details:
*[PIT] gets my fav younger Goalie in all of NHL, IMO Hill is a lot like Murray w/ his 6'-4" size & his calmness in net, has potential to be a #1 in a cpl yrs, & could be a Great 1B. The only reason ARZ could move him is why a 1yr deal? And didn't lock him up to a longer term contract or at least a Bridge deal?
ARI
  1. Aston-Reese, Zach
Additional Details:
*[ARZ] gets HCRT one of his fav players when here & Pens sell high on the Analytical Champ as Defensive Forward. I'm not as high as most on ZAR but he is a good bottom 6 Forward & a great PK guy.
5.
PIT
  1. Roy, Matt
  2. 2021 4th round pick (LAK)
Additional Details:
*[PIT] get, ROY - an athletic, good puck moving, good skating, & getting better in own zone RHD-man would be a perfect cheap option for Pens #3 RHD. Also a 4th in 21' w/ only having 3 picks in that draft, lol.
*Must Re-Sign to make Trade worth it.
LAK
  1. Sceviour, Colton
  2. Simon, Dominik [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
*[LAK] get, SIMON an underrated Forward that is ultra skilled, great 2-way player, that can play both wings, & will get playing time in LA. Is an RFA but prob signs 1 or 2 yr @ $950, - $1.2m Per. Also get a solid & cheap 4th line RWer in Sceviour that can be a stop gap till younger guys are ready.
6.
PIT
  1. Montembeault, Samuel [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
*[PIT] gets a young 6'-3" former 3rd Rd #3 Goalie that I wanted Pens to take in his draft yr. Monty is a RFA but would give him a 2-yr deal like Jarry's w/ 1st yr being a 2-way. Also Insurance for Expansion Draft.
FLA
  1. DeSmith, Casey
Additional Details:
*[FLA] gets DeSmith, who is stuck in AHL but is a solid back-up Goalie. Especially to a legit #1 like BOB, FLA has solid G- Depth in Driedger & Bednard - Plus their future guy in Knight but no real back-up.

Canes say hell no. Johnny G isn’t worth all that

This is awful. Necas isn’t being traded for Johnny G and Bennett by himself

Surprisingly Pens come out waaaaayyy ahead in this trade /s

No from the Devils. Not much of a prospect and we would want a pick to take JJ. Also Wood has name value, size and elite speed so someone is going to pay a little more for him. Also no chance on the Calgary deal.

I had Bjorkqvist in deal orginally but changed it for some reason?? But I should have kept out former 2nd Rdr in there

I really like him too but prob is more of a 3rd pairing type that played more on a bad team.
Simon is really good player tho, he would prob break-out in LA & getting playing time.

He’s definitely a 3rd pair on a contender. I’m hoping Roy will take an even bigger step next year. Making his value go even higher. Well see
