It’s a reallly nice package for them
Poehling is still a really nice prospect, Craig Button still rank Poehling the 3rd best Habs prospect ( that was a week ago ). Ylonen is another really solid prospect, they get picks and only losing Schmaltz but they still can run Dvorak Stepan Hayton next year at center

Dude Schmaltz is under contract for the next 6 years, I'm pretty sure they're not worried about his next contract at 30 years of age right now.

Schmaltz is their best centre. Poehling projects as a 3C at best. Ylonen is whatever. Zona gets significantly worse.

Poehling 3C at best lmao you were probably saying the same thing about Danault when he was in CHI. I am sure you never watched Ryan played more than 1 game, if you had actually watched him, you’ll know he’ll be a 3C at worse
