Some Wings fans would probably do that deal, but I really want to give Chevy a clean shot. He’s had some really unfortunate injuries, but whenever he’s been healthy he looked like a super skilled+physical player.

Doubtful the Hawks have to cap space for MAF at $6 million per, Don't see Detroit having any interest in Paul Stastny. We can go cheaper 2C even with retention on him.

I don’t mind Stastny, especially with the retention, just not for Svech or draft capital. Would you make the trade for any of our older roster players? Maybe LGD w/50% retention?

Hawks don’t have the space for that, and they probably need something else coming back if they take on Fleury.

Vegas will need to retain on MAF if they want to move him.
