I am not as high on lafreniere as everyone else is. I would say your analogy doesn’t fit.

Sorry but lafreniere won’t be like matthews, he is going to be more like hall or marner so I think that trade is more then fair ( other than Marners contract) but overall fair I think.

I on the other hand think he will be. Lafreniere is extremely good and will likely be a 90 point player. He plays a very similar game to Peter Forsberg

Yeah this should age well. Lafreniere is more like Panarin but also quite physical
