Feel like youre exaggerating but if Armstrong didn't do that for McD he should be shot into the moon. I dont think Kyrou or Perunovich project as game breakers (at least yet), and those firsts would be very late

If you're going full rebuild don't bother taking strome. Take a cap dump and get more picks/prospects back.
Feel like you can get more for barkov as it is.

Could also get a good return for ekblad.

Lastly take seabrook and the hawks 1st rounder

If you added ada you’d prob take away nils and have to add someone else (prob an offensive prospect)

I think someone's gotta be capable of playing C though. I contemplated bringing strome back but eventually did because you still gotta have some maturity in the lineup, this forward core is super young

I mean, you can say you'd deny it but i don't think an arguably top 5 LW on a steal of a contract for 2 years for 2 good but not great middle 6 guys, 2 very late firsts, and 2 B level prospects is THAT bad of a trade proposal lol

I wasn't sure what to do value wise but I think something arouns Turris for Conno could happen. Conno could be a good fit for NSH and they would dump Turris. Would probably cost a lot though

Sign some unwanted free agents or trade for more cap dumps. Your centers could be wenneberg rask turris

Thanks for the input btw. Any realistic Ekblad trades you can think of? I wonder how leafs fans would feel about Ekblad for Reilly Engvall Hallander or Abruzzesse and PITs first

There'd be a lot of takers for ekblad. I'd go heavy on the picks and prospects since it would be a long rebuild. The problem with trading him for reilly is toronto fans see reilly as better or as good as ekblad. They wouldn't want to add much to that

If Blues resign Petro, maybe a Hub for Parayko deal could benefit both teams

I wouldn't mind Connolly, but this offer is overkill. The 11OA isn't even on the table. Turris was on pace for 40+ points this season playing with 4th liners - give him actual, offensive lineman and he should be able to hit 50+. He's not bad, he just had an unfortunate start in NSH. Started out great and then got injured - then he came back too soon and just wasn't very good because of it - then Duchene was signed and he lost his spot - then he got in Lavy's doghouse and couldn't get out of it. He was looking much better under Hynes with better linemates. He's overpaid, but is still a productive NHLer and can play 2/3C still. He would be FLA's 2nd best center and would probably do well in FLA given a bigger role. He's not dead cap like Ladd or anything. With a bit of retention, I could see a few deals for him out there. But NSH will not add an NHL ready D prospect, a good former 2nd round pick from last draft, plus 11OA, plus another pick to dump him.

I'd argue that they aren't B level prospects, Kyrou could play top 6 minutes with Tarasenko out and Perunovich could very easily slot into the left side next year. Both still on ELC, also you can never really assume the picks will be "very" late firsts, look how that burnt San Jose. Also, you're not looking at team needs, the Blues don't need more wingers. Sunny is better than good in my opinion, he can slot into basically any line and kills penalties. Blais still has top 6 potential as well. It's a major over payment for one player.

I would counter with Sanford, Sunny, and a first.

Sanford, Sunny and a first is a VAST underpay. Also, to me, A level prospects are guys like Cozens, Zegras , Byram and Newhook. Kyrou and Perunovich are not even close to those. Tbh I feel like you are overrating your players here.
