You actually believe he will play in Detroit and no retire? He's been washed for a while. From what I understand Loui wants to still play.

So he can join an exciting rebuild as a depth player for a few years. OTT would be on my priority trade team if I were Loui

If it were me I would target Raanta instead. One year deal left on a cap dump with no NTC nonsense and it's a make or break year. Everyone is aiming for Kemper but his performance has made it so Arizona either takes a knock me off my socks offer or keeps him.

If I am paying to move Seabrook, I want it to be just futures. I think Ottawa also thinks this.

We’re not taking on Seabrook, too much term. We will have at least 6 very good players currently on ELCs wanting a raise by the end of the 3rd year and he has 4 left. Any team willing to take him on would demand retention AND multiple 1sts, I don’t see them being able to dump Seabrook for at least 2 more years.

I also think it would cost a significant amount more to dump Ladd. He has 3 years remaining and that’s a lot of term too (I really don’t see Ottawa taking on guys with more than 2 years left).
