    Yes but Frost is a real good prospect. Probably the 2020 1st and another roster player or good prospect

    The way I see it is that if frost reaches his potential he will be a 70 - 80 point guy and gaudreau is a 80 point guy so why should the flames do this trade unless they get a lot more

    cap space, control over the player, a player on the rise vs a player on the decline, resigning Johnny. theres a lot of reasons. especially when the league is hamstrung by the cap. i still think PHI needs to add, but I dont think its as much as every flames fan seems to think

    I agree with his point of view a lot. Gaudreau isn't necessarily on the "decline", but he's overrated by many. His return won't be as much as Flames fans think, and rightfully so. It'll be Frost + a roster player, but not much more than that, and if the price is more than that, then the flyers just wait. Few teams have a more skewed view of value as the Flames do of Johnny. He's just not worth as much as people seem to believe.
