Description
Tried to make an Ehler trade work cause I think the laine trade rumors are overblown. Jets would trade a player like ehlers or Conner before laine

That's a brutal Pulock offer sheet. It would have to be north of 7M before they even consider not matching

Idk, that's for the "GM of the year" to solve, but Pulock is an absolute beast, #1 dman, young, right shot - they're finding a way to keep him, especially if he somehow agreed to a less than half market value offer sheet

Islanders have 8 million in cap. They need like 10 million to sign barzal, I don’t see how they keep pulock

I think there's a scenario where you could offer sheet him, they are screwed cap wise, but it's gotta be at LEAST 6.

Ya this would be an example of the bruins ****ing the islanders over, if they match the offer sheet we just offer sheet barzal

I think jets keep Connor over laine because he seems to gave better Che.is try with scheifele and wheeler. In most cases yes keep him over ehlers but I think laine is getting sour over his revolving door of centers on the second line

They make room.

I don’t agree with your Jets theory. That relationship has always been contentious and they have a decent offer on the table for him that solves the problems that are looking to solve. Would not be surprised if it happens.

I thought it was an overpayment for the bruins tbh, we’re giving the jets a top 2 defender plus a proven 20 goal scorer and a propesct. More than fair

Detroit rejects. Moore has too much term left. Yzerman did a presser and stated he was looking for cap flexibility in 2-3 years when they expect to be a playoff team and have internal players to re-up. Today's presser he stated he was looking for an asset that can play and a sweetner of a future asset. Moore contract would get in the way of this plan.

Moore would be behind Danny DeKeyser, Patrick Nemeth, and Marc Staal on the LHD chart. In addition he would block the path for prospects like Jared McIsaac (2018 R2#36) and Dennis Cholowski (2016 R1#20). Moore would have to be buried for 3 years and that goes against Yzerman's pressers.

Pulock is a player you make room for. Any of Leddy, Boychuk, Komarov, Clutterbuck could be moved to make space

Nah, Debrusk is overrated and wants to get paid like a 2nd line winger when he's really a 3rd line winger, Carlo is good sure but that prospect is the guy that left and went back to Sweden so he's pretty much worthless at this point so yeah there's no way the Jets should be adding a 1st here.
