Take the first out of that Vancouver deal and give it to the blue jackets. Savard will cost more, and backup (maybe future starting) goalies just aren't worth that much.

What has thatcher demolished done to earn a 5 x 5 contract. He is a backup goalie, even Hutchinson won 2 playoff games no ones trading a first for him.
