Granlund or Smith

Description
In your opinion, what RW should be targeted in UFA?

Craig Smith of Mikael Granlund?

Craig Smith offers a Bryan Rust 2.0 vibe; being a swiss army knife type of player. Has speed and goal scoring ability.

Granlund offers proven chemistry with Zucker and was very good offensively in MIN.

Both offer to be centers when needed.

My preference: if you can get Granlund at $4M AAV then I would prefer him. His chemistry with Zucker would allow Guentzel to drop down to Malkin and Rust's line, recreating one of the most dominant lines of 2019-20. BUT, if he commands more than that, I would have no issue signing Smith.

If you can get Granlund that cheap, yes, but I wouldn't exactly shy away from Smith bc age

In my opinion we shouldnt be targeting a RW in the first place. I like rust, kap, tanev and scevior down the right side. thats pretty good and they all play the game the right way

Id look for a 3rd pair RD or a 3/4C since McCann is best utilized at wing

McCann is still young enough that he could develop into a 3C,

third line RW that can be competent as a 3C is a nice insurance policy, especially if you don't like the UFA centers available (personally not a fan)
