I wouldn’t do a 1-1 with that first overall for eichel. 3 years of elc with laf is more value able then a C making ten million who hasn’t actually accomplished anything noteworthy.

unless he requests out of there. I don't think he's worth pursuing since we have a solidified 1C, and have a lot of young guys to pay in the coming years

Theoretically but Laff could be a bust. Eichel is already a Top 10 center and will be for the length of his contract unless something goes INCREDIBLY WRONG. Not a fan of the move like I said above but you could make a case for it...

You dont try away a player like eichel and buyout a player for another team

I dont even want Eichel with that contract right now, it seems like a death sentence for teams not knowing how long the flat cap will stick around as well as the Rangers having a lot of people to resign the next 2 years.

I would question that top ten centre. That’s an elite group to consider him in. Has he won a single award? Could he carry the team into a post season 8 extra teams got invited to? I personally think he can become that player but don’t think he’s done anything thus far to be considered a top ten centre.
