There’s a chance of a trade for a number 1 center at the draft or they’ll get a center via free agency.

This is awful for the Sabres. There are no Eichel rumors, Bob's tweet has been blown massively out of proportion by those who didn't actually read it. The full tweet chain just said that Buffalo took calls where Eichel was asked about, but they didn't go anywhere. Eichel's agent straight up said he has not demanded a trade...

In any event, the Wild don't have what it takes to get Eichel, even if he is exactly what this franchise needs.
