This isn't a rumour. The Sens have multiple times now stated that they aren't trading those picks, and they obviously shouldn't. Lafreniere is probably a significant step up from Tkachuk, but the gap there isn't worth a number 1 C.

Definitely a very fair trade but no way I do this if I’m ottawa. But than again I love Brady Tkachuk so I probably wouldn’t make the trade even if it was 1 for 1. But like i said, value is solid
