DeAngelo for Hanafin is not equal at all. Hanafin is a good defenseman but DeAngelo was the 4th highest scoring defenseman in the league. Now, if we can expand on that trade some how to include Monahan Id be all over it.

Yeah ADA can score but can’t play defense hanifin can play defense so you swap points for defense if trouba can get back to putting up points It would be great

I always knew Makar was the worthy winner. He was more impactful and overall better. Though hughes playoff performance was better, it's a regular season award.

As for Eriksson, I actually don't want him traded at all yet. It's not the right time. I'd rather wait a year and move him for about the same price Staal was just moved at.

Because we would need an LHD to replace Hanifin. You misread my comment. I meant that Hanifin might be traded if we could find a replacement for him on LHD elsewhere, not so he could be replaced on LHD in the same trade.

I dont think LAF is better than Eichel. Eichel has proven he is a top caliber player in the NHL. However, he carries a bonkers contract which, in todays financial times, can potentially do more harm than good. So to shred everything the Rangers have developed, plus having very good cap control, for Eichel just seems counterproductive.

Is DeAngelo overrated? I guess we will see, hes only worth what people are willing to pay. However you cant sleep on a guy who was on pace for over 60pts. Will he reproduce that? Who knows, sell high!! LOL!

I dont know what all the hype is over Georgiev, I know Im not drinking that koolaid. If they could pull a 2nd round pick for him Id consider that a win, this is just a terrible year to move a goalie like him with so many proven veterans on the market.
