Top 4 RHD are equal value to middle 6 forwards, plus you want to add a 3rd line C and a 1st Rd'er.
Nylander is not worth half of what you value him as.

I doubt Toronto would consider it but I don’t think the value is as bad as people are thinking here. Nylander is good but not among the elite....
more goals 5v5 than Barzal, Matthew Tkachuk, Pettersson, Aho, Eichel, Laine, and Rantanen in their last 82 games played, he was near the top of the league in offensive zone takeaways, and he's one of the most cost effective non ELC scoring forwards in the league (top 10 I believe). He's a beast along the boards (without needing to hit), drives the team in zone entries, elite passer, great shot.
He did all that before turning 24. He also did all that with a coach who hated him, who we fired, and willy saw his best stats ever under Keefe, while still having 2nd line minutes and less ice time than most guys listed above
He's 17th place in even strength scoring this season according to evolving hockey... tied with Panarin, Marchand, Mackinnon, Zibanejad, Patty Kane, Aho. Above Eichel, Ehlers, Brady Tkachuk, Lindholm, BRAYDEN POINT, Dubois, Malkin, Tavares.
Nylander is pretty good, and he's on a below market value contract for 4 more years, and $20.5M of his $45M contract has already been paid.
