NJD would consider that. Not sure why you'd be getting rid of Holl though. He is cheap, was effective with Muzzin.

Isles say no. Mikheyev is still a bit of an unknown and this doesn't save us any cap.

All fair trades imo but the Islanders don't really need Mikheyev and I doubt they trade Mayfield with Pulock being a RFA.

I think the Isles love Mayfield's cost certainty and they know what he brings them (2nd or 3rd pair consistency). They can use him to shelter Dobson if he plays next year and then can easily move him down if Dobson surpasses him, doubt they do that.

I love adding Demelo and Greenway. Greenway probably plays higher in the lineup, he'd be great with Matthews and Marner I think.

Bastian is a fourth line plug. That being said I’m going to decline only because NJ Is very short on big physical players. He is the kind of guy you can throw on a line with Jack Hughes and a sniper and he would create a lot of room and Bang in lots of goals. I wanna keep him.

He reminds me a bit of Hyman, but raw & he has more of a physical edge to him.

I 100% think Holl is staying, I simply find his lack of physicality extremely frustrating considering how big he is.

i agree. I was actually going to make that comparison. Hyman is a 3rd line guy but an excellent complimentary player on the top line.
