That leafs trade can't happen due to the cap hit - let alone Letang not really being a good fit for what the leafs need

Hard no on the Oilers trade. Players of Lafferty's ability can easily be found in UFA for free. No reason to give up picks for him- least of all when the team is already so drained of picks.

im a pens fan but that ottawa trade gets declined as soon as you say john. I personally wouldnt trade letang just in case because yeah in capfriendly you can sign whoever you want but what happens if we go trade letang and then sign pietrangelo only for him to decline and go somewhere else. other trades look good though

The value is okay in the Toronto trade but Letang just isn't the defenceman that the leafs need right now

We don't want letang, especially not for a young up and comer prospect and a really high draft pick that GMJR had no business giving us haha
