flames decline add a 2nd, vegas laghs and hangs up, and winnipeg asks for your best prospect as well.

Vegas doesnt laugh chill, they were giving McNabb for a 2nd in a ton of AGMs.
Dellandrea is their best prospect lol.

exaclty johns is a depth 10-20 point guy, and dellandrea isnt their best prospect it's harley

sure but Winnipeg doesnt need Harley when they have Samberg and Heinola on left side D. Dellandrea is their best forward prospect and a former 1st round pick with easy top 6 potential

I made a similar Monahan - Seguin swap as well -- I think it could make sense if both teams want a shakeup at center ice.

The only way CGY does this is if it's part of a larger deal or Dallas (which I don't think they do and I don't think they should) retains money on Seguins contract. Trading a $6.75 disappointment who outproduces a a $9 mill disappointment isn't even a lateral deal, it's a step back. I love the premise, the contract is the problem.

In a flat cap environment you don't trade for an older $3M more expensive option who isn't a clear upgrade on a straight up deal. Dallas would definitely need to add something to offset the cap / age difference and I still think I would keep Mony!

The only reason Vegas trades McNabb is to save cap not pick up a player equivalent at best and more realistically worse for a higher cap.
