A bit of an Overpay for Dermott imo. He’s worth a 3rd and maybe, depending on the market, a late 2nd. Also not to mention, he’s off to a pretty good start in the SHL this year. Rangers may try and hold onto him.

This is extremely reasonable and well thought out. It clearly has no place on this website.

You really think they will buy out Lundqvist?

I’m not the OP, but personally, I think they either buy him out, or trade him to a team that will buy him out. I wish he could stay a Ranger though. Guy is a warrior and the heart and soul of this team, but business is business.

I don't know if anybody is going to have the extra cap room to do that this year, or it would cost you so much it wouldn't be worth it. Honestly, his buyout is not bad. It's more the emotional/fan side of it.

Honestly buying out Hank and Brendan Smith is not too bad at all. They have to at least be considering both.

Very reasonable. Suits all team's needs and value is there.

Only thing is that you've overpaid Smith and underpaid DeAngelo. But the cap is there to fix it. Well done.

... Leafs need centres more than they need picks or d-man. Andersson would be a great pick up

Eeeh.. Andersson is good but is he defensively reliable enough to be 3C?

Going on the Evo wild projections for both. They have Tony at 1 yr 3.744m. They have Smith at 3 years 4.42m so I went a bit cheaper there.

I dont want them to buyout Hank, but the only thing Brooks and Carp are good at when it comes to being beat writers is putting out the message the NYR FO feeds them. And they have been beating the drum that Henrik will be bought out so he can pick where he wants to play and for how much with no strings, because he doesnt want to be the back up and they like Georgiev and are not carrying three goalies. So while i hope it doesnt happen, im gonna read the writing on the wall for my AGMs.

He's young and barely played in North America. Still tons of time to develop
