Better chance to go back to back than getting a 1st for Gourde or a 2nd for Johnson or Sanheim and Lindblom for McDonagh....

You're delusional with your expected returns, Johnson wont get a 2nd round pick perhaps a 3rd, Gourde and his atrocious contract isn't returning a 1st round pick. Sanheim+Lindblom for McDonagh isn't happening either and Detroit declines on Coburn.

Nope a 3rd perhaps, Considering that you're probably only getting one year out of him anyways. Then off to Seattle.

If TB does want to sign those players, yes they'll have to move out salary. As a Blackhawks fan, when a team wins the Cup and needs to move salary...teams typically aren't so generous in trades that amount to cap dumps for your team.
Does Philly reall want 6x6.75 for a 31 year old McDonough? I doubt it. Tyler Johnson at 30 at 4x5M coming off at about .5ppg season? Not so sure that's what teams are truly interested in that.
Congrats on the Cup win!

Man... Imagine thinking McDonagh would get you either Sanhiem or Linblom, let alone both.

Gourde isn't bring back a 1st regardless how well he played in the post season. Regular season he was pretty much a 4th liner. Johnson gets you maybe a third, he's gonna he hard to move. And McDonough, while still very good, probably doesn't get you that return. All your trades heavily favor Tampa.

It will be difficult for the Lightning to get “fair value”. The team is not in a position of strength. What would be advantageous is a bidding war for a roster player that respectively Tampa will need to move. It is going to be a interesting off season.

Congrats to the Lightning and their fans. A year late, but today Stanley Cup Champions, and that is what counts.
