It would definitely be interesting lol but not sure where he would fit, the wings are pretty crowded. Idk, you could bring him in and put him on the third line and run:

Ovi-Backstrom-Wilson
Vrana-Kuzy-Oshie
Panik-Eller-Yak
Hags-Dowd-Hathaway

It'd be fun. I don't think they're gonna do it, though. They've got Boyd and Sprong who need ice time, and a lot of guys who did okay in Hershey last year, to say nothing of McMichael or Protas.

Fox was 2nd in points at his position on his team. His cap hit is just lovely and gives him some value.

Kuznetsov has led the league in points. His cap hit is immaterial.

And check out Fox' zone starts. Of Rangers regulars, only Panarin and Deangelo played easier minutes. It's like he's playing tee ball, and Kuznetsov's playing baseball. Yeah, there are more strike outs in baseball than tee ball. That's okay.

I didn’t realize that he has won an art ross trophy or even a conn smythe... must’ve missed that.

And saying Adam fox is playing tee ball lol
53% offensive zone stats isn’t insane, considering rangers had possession the majority of the time he was on the ice due to ALL of his play, both offensive and defensive. Hell, kuznetsov has a career 56% offensive zone start at was at 52, 59 and 56 the last three years.. talk about playing tee ball

Good screen name. Ever feel like you're trying too hard?

It makes sense for the Caps to put their leading scorer on the ice in the offensive zone if they have a choice. That means he's good. It doesn't make sense for the Rangers to put their lowest scoring RHD on the ice in the offensive zone because they're good. They did that because the new guys are liabilities.

fox was the rangers best RHD and it wasn't close. keep playing along with your stats to make your argument, but ignore the same statistics when they go against it.

And really? commenting on a screen name? Trying to hard? Yeah putting a pledge name that was given to me is "trying to hard". GTFO here with that lame a$$ sh1t

No. It's my thread. My rules.

And if you think Fox was the Rangers' best d-man, are you in the camp that wants to trade that overpaid Trouba? Because I think the Caps would take him if the price is right.
