First, the NYR trade only hurts the rangers so that's a no from them.
Second, even if the trade did go through for some reason, there is no way Deangelo signs for that little.
Third, I do like the idea of the TOR trade however I don't think Nylander would be the return.

Rangers decline. Dallas and NYR are just not a fit as trade partners.

Klinger over ADA all day long. Rangers would never go for that trade anyways. No money for Miro next year

Unless Hintz is ready for 2C minutes. Then it'd make more sense.

I just don't see Hintz as a 2C and would prefer Chytil as 2C unless we can get someone like Cirelli/Lindholm, etc.

Yeah. Ideally our 2nd line would be Panarin-Chytil-Kakko. Hintz would be a good 3C then and could switch to get some new combos. Don't know if 72 and 24 are ready for those minutes yet, but Kakko looked really good in that short play-in sample

I believe both of them are ready for those minutes as long as their defensive games improve.
