Russell is a negative asset, you would have to pay a team a 2nd or a 3rd just to eat his cap hit, definitely not getting a third back.

He's not a negative asset, but they likely won't get a 3rd back. About half the teams will be operating on a strict budget next year and Russell provides decent value for his $1.5M salary.

I don't like the AZ trade. OEL is 29 and signed for 7 more years at a rate above what he's worth right now, that contract is not going to age well. Nurse is a better player right now, gets paid less and still hasn't hit his prime, being only 25 years old.
