I'd do the deal for Tampa, but SJ might be in Killorn's no-go list on his M-NTC.

I'm gonna be really interested to see who's still available at 16 and 31. Even if we don't end up getting a pick like 16 OA, I'm really curious to see what talent is still on the board at that point. Lapierre and Petereka are definitely safe picks tho

MTL are DEFINITELY not doing that, not even close
Armia is 6’4 and can score goals, we aren’t trading him for a smaller player, which we have a ton. I rather have Armia + 16th OA any day then Labanc and 34 OA

Big fan of that Killorn deal. Maybe we can even lower that 2nd to a 3rd if TBL's stuck in a cap bind, which they are, and there aren't more takers on his no-trade list.

I like Armia a lot on this team on the 3rd llne, and it'd be great to get him. But I don't think Sharks can give up Labanc unless it's Armia + a 1st for Labanc without the second, esp a very early one at that. Just sign Ryan for a 1yr deal at the same cap hit or less without giving up Labanc.

Thats fine. Was just an idea. Sounds like MTL wants to get a younger NHL player for 16th, but the sharks cant lose a valuable right handed forward so seemed like a decent compromise

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a player more overvalued by a fanbase than Armia. Played an almost full season once in his career and for the first time was on pace for 40 points (while being a possession black hole). Meanwhile he’s only got 1 year left on his deal. But hey, he’s 6’4 and skates pretty well so the rest doesn’t matter.

This is a horrible trade for MTL, we can resign him if we want. We need seize, we saw that in the playoffs. This is a ridiculous offer

MTL only have Gallager and Armia RW, if we trade for a RW, we are keeping both Gallagher and Armia so we have 3 top 9 RW. Armia is a perfect 3rd liner who can play on the top 6 if needed

Dude, this deal would give you Labanc as a replacement. You get a better offensive RW whos young and has 56 point potential, while we get a higher pick. That was the idea
