If the best the Sabres could help to get for Risto is a high-ish second round pick they may as well hang onto him until the trade deadline when someone will pay more. Take Kahun out of the Columbus deal and I might do it. Winnipeg probably wouldn’t make that trade, and while I would Colorado wouldn’t.
