Hawks decline. Don't need Kerfoot and could probably get a late 1st or 2nds/B prospects for Murphy

I ran it through from the Blackhawks side and it looked just fine. A serviceable middle 6 forward, top 6 D and a 2nd for a top 4 Dman seems like a fair trade no? I could swap it to Abramov, Kivihalme and a 2nd based on your valuation. I'd much rather have the package I've offered here if I'm the Hawks

Hawks just don't need Kerfoot imo. They already have cap issues and need to shed cap. Plus with Saad, Kubalik, Nylander, Kane, Toews, Dach, Strome, Debrincat, Suter and Kurashev there is no need for another forward.

Chicago passes easily. We have Toews, Dach, Strome and Kampf down the center so Kerfoot wouldn't replace any of them. on the wings in the top 9 we have Kubalik, Saad, Kane, Debrincat, Nylander and Shaw....not to mention multiple prospects like Suter pushing for a spot; again, no room for Kerfoot. Kerfoot would be a cap dump in the Hawks eyes and will cost the Leafs to move him to the Hawks.

Holl is not really interesting to the Hawks with Boqvist, Mitchell and Koekko plus Seabs on the right.

Also you're asking Chicago to take on roughly $1.5M more in cap for players that are not very useful. You need to understand the other team's needs if you are going to suggest a trade to them. Bottom line, Murphy will cost the first.

Why do we need Kuraly when their are much cheaper options that help us get more cap space?
