Description
talk of ottawa "open" to trading the 5th OA pick, most likely only if an offer blows them away, not sure what that looks like exactly but this was a crack at it. Key here is i think sending the 5OA to the jets allows the habs to not have Romanov included as the dman and instead Fluery fits. Domi can slot in at second line center, fluery shown he's already capable at logging minutes in the NHL (top 4 potential sooner rather than later) poehling comes with a bit risk but i still think he will turn into a very suitable 3rd line center at the very least and with that 5OA pick jets have options to add a legit prospect to their system who may even be able to crack the roster this coming season.

Ylonen isn't a big enough needle mover to go from 5 to 16, and there's a a huge diminishing return for Ottawa in getting a fifth 2nd and another 3rd. If Ottawa trades back, they're probably not moving out of the top 10.

NO THANKS from MTL..
On total you are giving: 5-OA (Raymond, Perfetti?) Ylonen who play really good in Liiga, Domi OK 2C, 2x2nd from a depth draft... and 2 A-Prospect in Fleury & Poehling... I think you forgot Webber and Price in that deal

Neither Fluery nor Poehling are A prospects unless you only put prospects into two groups. And thats exactly the offer it would take to get a 22 year old whose got 40 goal potential. cant get someone of Laine's skill with peanuts.

B-Prospect are not NHL ready...
A-Prospect= NHL Ready...
not TOP minutes otherwise they would jump in A+ TOP6 Ylonen or BlueChip TOPRW like Caufield

NO. B prospects have bottom 6 potential i.e Poehling, b+ have slightly higher ceilings but less likely to reach them than an A prospect. i.e. Fleury. Thinking any prospect that is NHL ready is an A prospect makes no sense De la rose was an B+ prospect when drafted and then quickly fell to irrelevant status. A guy that at the very best wouldnt be a 2nd line center if everything worked out perfectly. By your logic Habs have about 10 A prospects and therefore shouldnt be worried about making any moves at all.

In my book A-prospect are 3rd rows
BlueChip: Romanov, Caufield,
A+: Primeau, Norlinder, Ylonen
A: Poehling, Jokinen, Struble, Fleury, Hillis, Harris
B: I call them Suspect not prospect: Pezzetta, Olofsson, Fairbrother and about 10 mores... who would only play in Laval IF

Maybe there is a chart so we can all have the same wording!
