As this is proposed?- yeah, i think im in. Unfortunately, nobody in their right mind is going to retain 1.25m for 7 years. I would put lhd behind center and rw in terms of organizational need, but i think highly of oel. We are getting off easy here, especially with the retention

OEL is going to waive his NMC to go from the trash heap to a dumpster fire? What a nice guy!

tire fire or dumpster fire witch is better hmmm.
pretty sure using eyes we can see Arizona is bad spot, defaulting on paying bonus to players and avoiding paying arena fees.

i think buffalo is going to trade down but its a bit more iffy that they get rid of pick all together.
oel will need a good package, and arz will need cheap players and want picks
Montour and Thompson arnt looking like they are in future plans and buf only has one 1st rounder so

What I'm saying is: he'll have better options.

he isnt a UFA he doesn't really have options its yes or no. if he waives his no trade he can go anywhere.
i am half thinking that the hoffman trades might look similar where a team he will go to trades for him then they trade him for something better.

He has complete control over where he can be traded. So far, he's said he is only interested in waiving to go to Boston or Vancouver; that's it. And once he gets traded, his NTC still stands so they can't just flip him somewhere else.

to my understanding after a nmc is waived to go somewhere the new team does not need to honor that clause anymore because its already been executed. a no movement clause to stay in Arizona doesn't make sense if he plays for/in Boston. Saying a no movement clause follows you to what ever team you move to kinda sounds silly in it own right too. but not a lawyer so will let them fight about it if that ever comes to it.
also he didnt say he was only willing to wave there from what i have seen. it said he would be willing to wave there and those team are interested.

It looks like an NTC can be portable even if the player waives in order to be traded. It just depends on if that is a condition of the trade. So, if a player has an NTC or NMC, they really do mostly control their own fate. And OEL did say he was only willing to waive for those two clubs.
