Johnson strikes me as a reasonable pickup for us, but I don't think that's fair value for him. The Las Vegas second and our 2021 third would seem to me to be the least we should have to pay for him.

and trade Carter to a cup contender like Winnipeg or NYR
Carter + 2nd for Buch or Carter straight up for a 2nd ?

this is why we don't try to trade with bottom feeders unless they have something we want, they over value their players and under value ours, if they want johnson, give up a mid round 2021 pick
