Overpay for Murray, don't get the fascination with trading Roslovic so quickly, he's had two full seasons in the league and is under control for four more years at least, pointless to trade him for this.

As a Blue Jackets fan who is obsessed with bringing Roslovic home, I'd be all about it. And Murray's absolutely useful as a top-4 LD when he's healthy (which is, of course, the big risk). Let's get Jarmo and Chevy to make this happen.

Murray’s injury history is a bit sketchy. Not sure Winnipeg would make it, Columbus probably would if we felt Roslovic could be a 2nd line center.... but that’s also exactly what Winnipeg needs too so...

add in a 2M retained Wennberg and WPG would do it

We're not going to retain significantly more on Wennberg than his buyout would cost us, which is $440K. Wouldn't make any sense for us. And that's a HUGE amount for Roslovic alone.

Ryan Murray is a solid top 4 Dman when healthy, but with his injury history and our teams massive injury issues already I think it's just too risky. Its really close though.

I think there's an element of risk in any trade, and Chevy wouldn't be a fool for making this deal, given the Jets' roster construction RN. Not saying he'd be a fool for declining, either. This is one of the more intriguing CBJ-WPG ideas I've seen.

Yeah for sure, when Murray is healthy, there is no question he is the better player, so it is something to look into and I wouldn't be upset about it honestly.

Be a nice homecoming for both guys, Murray being a WHL kid and Roslovic being from Columbus.
