Remember a year and a half ago when everyone laughed at the thought of Pionk anchoring the Jets blueline? That worked out very very well so far - Subban will be absolutely fine Winnipeg

Trades look fair...NJD probably wouldn't do the EDM trade if they could resign Gusev. He is clearly best player in that deal and is at position of need for them.

Subban is done, he isn't what he used to be and was overrated in his best years anyway, wouldn't trade a 7th round pick for him if he was 50% retained.

What kind of backwards logic is that? If he couldn’t succeed on an elite blue line in Nashville what makes you think he’ll do it in a rag tag blue line 2 years further away from his prime?
