I dont think the Canucks resign Stetcher or Tanev (maybe though) and a big maybe on Marky too. They need to shed salary and with the Kraken coming they would risk losing Demko or Marky. And big contracts of Petey and Huggy Bear looming.

I like the Eriksson trade. I mean the cap hit is high, but the money owed is only 5mil over the 2 years. Maybe Canucks retain 1 or 2 mil. For the young senators Virtanen would be a good fit and he needs a fresh start. He has big potential still...solid 2nd liner.

If it's not Vancouver, I'd be happy to see Marky in Ott.

Id be ok letting Marky go for that reason but I think moving on from tanev and or stech is a mistake.

If Marky doesnt stay in Vancouver he gets his pick and it wouldn't be Ottawa, it would be somewhere he thinks he can win a cup, just like Hall.

It's time for Marky to get paid. Winner or not he's going where the money is. IMO
