I mean I hope Pens could pull this off but I can't see Detroit taking on 3 years of JJ at his price for just a 3rd. I'd expect it to cost a 1st or high 2nd/prospect. Pens don't have much to offer.

third-rounder probably won't get it done to move JJ. The guy was in the conversation for the worst NHL player throughout the whole season. With 3x3.25 left i think itd take more.

Dude we got a 2nd round pick for one year of Marc Staal, For 3 years of Jack Johnson at $3.25m it's going to cost you far more then a 3rd round pick.

Ok I get it JJ sucks...just the idea is what I was trying to show. Maybe it's Det. Maybe its not.

I’m fine with taking on JJ since we have cap space but you have to make it worth our while. I’d ask for a 2nd+good prospect or a future protected 1st
