Who wins the next 15 Stanley Cups? very simple Question-but super hard to predict.
let's have some fun guessing who will be good for how long...

2021-VGK over TBL (I think Vegas will eventually get it done, their roster so stacked they'll be a legit contender the next 3-4 years. Tampa tries to repeat, but runs out of gas.)
2022-NYR over COL (New York has won two lotteries (Kakko/Lafrieniere) and added Panarin. they have a ton of young players coming. they will be good for a while. Colorado has a great young core, with players maturing and maybe a major FA acquisition, I see the next dynasty forming.)
2023-COL over NYR (command + C, Command + V 2022...except COL comes through.
2024-EDM over TOR (it's an all-canadian matchup with McDavid taking down Matthews. this assumes EDM/TOR GMs can make the necessary changes to get their teams to this level.
2025-VAN over TBL (Vancouver has fully developed and Pettersson, Hughes, and Co. are not to be stopped. a more veteran Tampa team gets back for one more chance but comes up short.)
2026-NJD over EDM (Hughes/Hiscier vs McDavid/Draisaitl. that would be fun.)
2027-OTT over LAK (two teams that have now reached their peak battle it out but Ottawa comes out ahead.)
2028-COL over TOR (toronto gets to the SCF again and promptly runs into Mackinnon. maybe next year leafs...)
2029-MIN over DET (well, the ratings won't be great but......)
2030-PIT over CHI (two dynasties in the last decade have gotten old, stunk, won the lottery, and are competing again in the 2030s...I wonder if Sid and Toews want to coach? that would be good.)

totals
COL-3 Finals, 2 Cups
EDM-2 finals, 1 cup
NYR-2 finals, 1 cup
TOR-2 Finals, 0 cups (in 2030 63 yrs and counting lol...JK I'm sure they'll eventually get one...maybe...)
TBL-2 finals, 0 cups
PIT-1 final, 1 cup
VAN-1 final, 1 cup
VGK-1 final, 1 cup
NJD-1 final, 1 cup
OTT-1 final, 1 cup
MIN-1 final, 1 cup
LAK-1 final, 0 cups
DET-1 final, 0 cups
CHI-1 final, 0 cups

yeah I think the second half of the decade they'll have a shot depending of course on what happens between now and then...like all the bad teams now...

I was very tempted to consider MTL honestly....I just wonder if enough players age out before the young kids are superstars and they are really good for a bit but never great...IDK I guess anything can happen.

Next 15 years is easy....any and every American team, Canada's Cup drought will not end until Bettman is removed in favor of Wayne Gretzky.

You should add a couple of Cup wins for Toronto Legacy (or whatever the rumored 2nd Toronto expansion team name was going to be).

The Oilers are not going to win a Stanley Cup with McDavid and Draisaitl, and will be forever mocked for squandering the opportunity as both players leave via free agency.

yeah but I think they and TOR will everntually figure it out....how crazy would it be if TOR(Matthews, Nylander, Marner, Tavares), EDM(RNH, Draisaitl, McDavid, and BUF (Eichel, dahlin) never won cups with their core???

I think Toronto will: from the outside looking in, they've just kinda ran out of gas at the end year over year. They find that blueliner they need, and get just enough goaltending, and they're winning it all. They're close.

Edmonton and Buffalo can't figure it out with what they have: both rosters still have so many holes that there doesn't appear to be a solution on the immediate horizon, at least not soon enough to deter a McDavid/Eichel request out of their respective cities.

That blueline they need and get enough goaltending are two pretty big ifs tho.

I'm convinced Pietrangelo is going to Toronto, and a .920sv% is the most that team should need to succeed. Campbell can offer that.
