Response to Laine to TBL trade

Idk who the depth picks will be but TBL always gets lucky so lets see...

The Clifton and Bjork trade seems dumb, it is just the base for the trade, but they are interesting low cost/long term players

Sergachev and Johnson for Ehlers.... get the Salary controlled guy, you'll be back in the same problem next season when Laine wants a raise.

Either one of those players alone is worth more than Bjork and Clifton.

BJork, Clifton, ‘21 1st for Cirelli more like it.

    Boston needs to add.
Jets trade looks like it could be fun.
Please no on Simmonds. They have "vets who know how to win" they dont need Simmonds. Give the kids a chance.

That BOS trade is dreadful. What even is the purpose behind it?

Don't think WPG's accepting that either.

The Boston trade would be the base, but the purpose is that you get two players that are very good analytically and that are cost controlled for the next three years at $1M and $1.6M. I was looking for players that fit the criteria that the Coleman and Goodrow trades fit.

It's a move to win back to back. It is very short sighted yes, but could you imagine Point and Laine together!

I'd rather be in Tampa's position than a team like Vancouver....

Nah. Cirelli alone is worth more than that package with a BOS 1st added to it.

If they add a first then that's great! But they are also taking on Killorn so you have to take that into account. He has three years left at $4.45M. Not many people will be wanting to pick that up in a flat cap environment

Can you imagine how good Ehlers would be playing with Point as well?...

After his good year Killer is worth 2nd+3rd, I'd say.
