I don't think Arizona would be willing to reduce themselves to one young center after this season, especially in exchange for the more expensive and older Chris Kreider.

I think DeAngelo + Kreider is a bit too much for OEL alone. What do you suggest Arizona adds considering they have no draft capital?

You think Hayton is ready for #2C duty? Really? Or did you think I didn't know he was on the roster?

He doesn't have to be 2C, you said they only had one young center.

I think that DeAngelo and the Carolina first for Ekman-Larsson is fair. I think for Arizona to trade Schmaltz is idiotic.

Yes, he does have to be a 2C because Stepan is gone after this season, and maybe earlier. Hayton won't be ready to step up next year, in my opinion. I assumed you understood hockey better when I said young center.

I don’t think AZ would have any interest in Kreider. I came up with an OEL trade with an AZ fan and we agreed OEL and Stepan for Buch Strome Robertson Smith and the Carolina pick would be fair

Easy there Tiger.

You said one young center, you didn't say 2 young top 6 centers. attacking my intelligence is a cowardly thing to do.

they can do plenty of things to bring in another center seeing as in your scenario they have 2 off seasons to accomplish it.

In your usual snide way you assumed I didn't know, or had forgotten, that Barrett Hayton is on their roster. You rushed to correct me. I'm not attacking your intelligence. I'm attacking your smug self-conviction that you know more than anyone else. We've all come to know what to expect from you. I'll go back to my policy of not responding to anything you say. It isn't worth it, either to me or any third party.

I mean if they can't sign Hall I don't see why they wouldn't.

Plus both Kreider and OEL's contracts will age poorly.

I think that's too much imo. OEL for DeAngelo is already fair. OEL is great but his contract is gonna suck in 5 years.
