We can't live off one season of Dub and Campbell splitting time?

You mean 3? It takes time to develop a starter.

Kahkonen on the other hand may be a better target.

Make an offer, though I doubt it'll be sufficient...

I'm sure you'll be just fine if your goal is to miss the playoffs by a wide margin...

Johnsson can okay the right side but the sabres need right handed forwards in general. So I agree. Put Risto on 2rw....

Yup

Gotta say, that's better than I expected it to be. Still not sure I do it, but I'm considering it at least.

I’m assuming you don’t follow me much here. I try to make deals that are fair both ways (as much as possible anyway)

The idea for wild draft askarov and extend Freddy to fill the gap. This will give the wild time to get their **** together. The first should be a decent player.

Toronto trades Andersen for what should be a goalie that can tandem with Campbell and turn into the 50-60 game guy quite quickly. I think he is a very solid goalie. And petro

So you can look at it like this Andersen and a 1st for kahkonen a 2nd and petro.

My preference would be to not take Askarov (I don't think he'll be at 15 anyway), and take a player like Mercer instead, but it still checks out. I don't know if we would extend Andersen, or figure out a different solution, it would probably depend on what kind of contract he's looking for.

The Wild still have a couple solid goaltending prospects in their system, and we might be able to skirt by with a stopgap for a year or two. Our defense also makes a goalies job really easy, so having a high end goaltender isn't as important for us.

All in all, it was a good proposal, regardless of who we would ultimately take at 15.

So do you think you’re winning a cup with Freddy in the 1 year you have him? Extending him?

The wild pick would be askarov (if available) I think their only other target could be lundell if available. Still some good players at 15 though.

We might extend him depending on his contract demands. The real prize for me is getting to 15th for another shot at a top 6 center.

They really should. He did play forward on the power play this year.

Freddy is solid as long as he gets his rest. TML tried to run him at a 70GP pace and that’s not good
