Description

Trades

#1 - Ehlers for Pulock
Scoring winger for Top pair RHD. Pulock being a RHD has slightly higher value, moving up a few picks makes this a winning trade for both sides.

#2 - Leddy for a low draft pick. LA takes whole contract. Simple trade.

#3 - Komarov would be a perfect Sen. Great with the younger players, plays PK so those kids won’t have too. Has connection with DJ Smith. Isles give picks for no return to take the whole contract.

#4 - Help Calgary’s Defensive Depth if they lose Hamonic and Brodie. Retained to help Calgary’s cap.

#5 - Leafs Need cheap depth. Isles get reclamation project (Like Ho-Sang) and a pick.

(Trade Eberle next offseason when his NTC switches to Modified and use the first to unload Ladd to Seattle to pay Beau, Pelech, Sorokin.

I more and more believe that the isles trade zeeker while he still has value. Possibly if we need to ship off ladd or boychuk with a first and need to reclaim assets

I think they are going to try to hold on to the 1st in 2021 for the expansion to have Seattle take Ladd.

I think Boychuk is still an NHL’er and can be used as a buffer while Bode Wilde gets seasoned as a pro.

If isles can get rid of Ladd with that first this year, even better.
