Description

Drafting (1st round only): 7 - Rossi (this could also be Raymond, in which case just imagine Raymond there lol); 12 (Florida) - Askarov (this forms the best young tandem in the league with Blackwood and Askarov); 20 - Zary.

I kept Zacha because he's been here forever. He's up in a season, in which case I'm hoping he'll come back to Jersey on a 1M contract to play a 4C. Next season, Gusev and Zacha are off the books (as I said Zacha will come back cheap) and no one needs a new contract. Gusev will come back at the same money, Zacha 4.5 cheaper. That's 4.5 in free cap. Jersey might have to make some tweaks (3rd line, 3rd D-pairing, etc.) but they'll be able to take on a bad contract (like Staal's) and pick up a late 1st or early 2nd.

NYR Trade: NJD would not want Lias. NYR would not trade Nils.
TOR Trade: NJD declines

UFA: About $1.5 million too high on Krug

Draft: Not sure how they end up woth Askarov and Rossi. Both a top-10 or 12 players. Neither will fall to pick 20. (And pls no on Zary)

NYR is pretty set with wingers so they decline Palms.

TB trade is an overpayment imo.

then go somewhere else - maybe florida? get their 1st round pick (to select askarov) for palmeri. then as for sergachev trade, take out Anderson and the 2nd. Two mid 1sts for Sergachev. Lightning would do that as they'll get more there than if someone offer sheeted him. I'm making edits to change based on comments right now.
